Doing the Decoupage

We are gonna change how  our show space looks. So I get to decoupage some paneling and we will put it behind our shelves. Got 3 done and(of course) still need to do 2 more. I've already gotten the main pages pasted on and then I topped with some of the misc. pieces of the paper pieces that are filling the boxes in the garage. But in my normal reality (of course)  I ran out of glue just as I needed to attach the last paper and the rain was beginning to spatter down. So I (of course) went ahead and used the glue available in Timm's garage. Nice and sticky. However, Timm graciously stood the panel up in his garage to dry overnight and (of course) the glue leaked out from under the last page and dripped down. I'll  have to cover the glue leaks w/ more papers. Sad but not fatal. Now, Gonna be switching to the Rummage Sale for the next week then I'll head back to the garage and play w/ paper some more.
I've realized - I enjoy doing Decoupage more than I do most other crafts. Maybe its the variety of papers/pictures/history that's gonna be reloved, maybe its the opportunity to be creative w/o worrying about perfection or maybe its the chance I have to play w/ glue like I did in kindergarten. I am now thinking/plotting how I want to do the finish on them. Since this is all like playing on a merry-go-round w/o an adult watching me I may...... add some glaze/paint/glitter? or not.

Glitter it is. If you can look close you will see glitter on all the candle lights, and around the Christmas cards.
