We had an interview w/ the Oregonian newspaper about the antiquing business. The reporter was appalled when I smashed a saucer and Tia whooped "Opa" as it crashed on the asphalt. His eyes were huge and he was so surprised. I tried to explain that antiques etc. aren't worth anything unless we assign them value. Being a novice to antiquing he expected everything in our booth to be worth lots of money. sigh, seems that people don't quite understand we as customers decide what has value.
