Bags of history's bits and pieces.

So many small memories lost along the way in years past;
bits and pieces tossed aside from our daily life.

The spoon from our trip to the long awaited exotic locale, scrabble pieces from the game  lost, the letter from him; slightly tear stained and crumpled around the edges. The map used to find the way when on the wrong road and late for the appointment.

Sewing notions, puzzle pieces, vacation photos and slides, laces, ribbons, string and floss. So many littles dropped along the wayside.

We pull tidbits together and see a new life for these items. One bag becomes a mixed media art piece. Another is used to decorate a vignette. While another is pulled apart and the pieces used as they were originally intended; for daily use, as pieces that glue our realities together  bit by bit.
